Attitude Gallery was born out of a desire to offer the very best in contemporary art from both emerging artists as well as already highly collectable stellar names!

Buying art can often be an intimating experience and sometimes more pain than pleasure. Our goal was to bring 'Art with Attitude' to the North West, namely art that generates a reaction or starts a conversation, often cheeky and sometimes controversial!

Based in the historic Cheshire market town of Congleton all work is personally selected by the gallery directors, themselves avid art lovers and collectors with a professional background in art and design.

After more than 15 years selling art alongside other lifestyle and interior accessories to both private buyers as well as the house building and interior design sector, Attitude Gallery was born as a standalone gallery space in 2014 to bring amazing art with a wider audience in an intimate setting.

Summer 2017 saw us curating a special collection for the new Serenity Designs with Attitude art boutique in Knutsford.

We simply focus on sourcing and exhibiting amazing art with a goal of helping you obtain something truly special whatever your budget whether a unique commission or an open edition print.

2018 saw our gallery move from Congleton's Swan Bank to a much larger and state of the art premises back alongside Serenity Designs at 6 Bridge Street in the heart of the town centre.

Whether you are an established art investor, new collector, interior designer seeking that unique piece for a client or simply looking for something to brighten up your walls we have a continually changing array of work available and if nothing takes your fancy will be delighted to discuss commission services.

I'd like to commission a piece but don't know where to start?
Commissioning your own work is often much more accessible than you would imagine and can be a really fun process bringing your own creation to life. We work as your advocate with artists and publishers to bring your desire to fruition.

I'm looking for a particular sold-out piece, can you help?
We'll do our best for you. We often get previous buyers of work from us looking to sell and we have an active database of buyers and sellers looking for that rare or sold-out work.

Can you deliver?
For sure, if you're not able to visit our Cheshire gallery as well as our own local delivery service, we work with an established fragile goods specialist to ensure your purchase reaches you in the best possible condition.

How long are your delivery times?
We will do our utmost to deliver your purchase as soon as possible - often exceeding your expectations - sometimes pieces are bespoke framed to order so we advise allowing 2-3 weeks for delivery although often can deliver much quicker than this.

How much does delivery cost?
Our priority when delivering is to get your piece to you safely and securely and as such for glazed work or high value piece we use a specialist firm who will delivery for a fixed price - we simply charge you what it costs us to organise delivery and unlike some galleries do not profit from our delivery service.

What do you on receipt of delivery?
Please ensure you visually inspect the outside packaging of your delivery at the time it arrives, noting any visible damage on the driver's paperwork. If upon further inspection and opening there is damage to the piece, retain all packaging, ensure you notify us via telephone and then email to info@AttitudeGallery.co.uk with suitable photographs, within 48 hours of receipt in order for us to pursue the courier for damages. Our couriers liability extends to the original purchase price of the work.

I'm an interior designer, how can you help my clients obtain a unique work?
With almost 20 years experience of your sector, our goal is to work with you to source something special for your client's space. By working directly with many leading artists and publishing houses we are committed to finding that perfect piece for your scheme.

Careful hanging and display of your picture will ensure years of enjoyment!

When hanging your picture, ensure you use suitably-rated wall plugs and fixings. In our experience do not use adhesive hanging systems as they can fail over time given temperature and humidity differences.

Unless your picture is already strung by the publishers, do not add any wire or string to the reverse rather ensure you use either suitable rating hanging plates on the wall or robust fixings and hang straight from these. Do not modify the existing hanging.

Think carefully about where you hang your picture, of course avoiding any cables and pipes.

Don't place your new pride and joy in direct sunlight, above a radiator or in a space subject to higher than average humidity or temperature levels or changes such as a bathroom or conservatory. Work may fade, discolour and become damaged over time if displayed in an inappropriate environment.

We carefully check all work before it leaves the gallery for printing / framing issues. We will be unable to assist with work that has become damaged due to inappropriate display or hanging.
